Privacy Policy

Clearwing is built so that this policy can be one sentence long:
Clearwing collects no data, and contains no code capable of sending data anywhere.
The rest of this page just spells that out.
What the app stores, and where
- The Home Screen screenshots you import, the wallpaper crops made from them, an optional photo you pick, and your settings (countdown, monogram, preferences) are stored only on your device, in the app's private container.
- Nothing is uploaded, synced, or backed up by us. We have no servers.
- Deleting the app permanently deletes everything it stored.
What the app never does
- No networking code exists anywhere in the app: it cannot make requests, even in an update, without this policy changing first.
- No accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.
- The photo picker runs in a separate system process; Clearwing receives only the images you explicitly choose and never asks for photo-library access.
Apple Intelligence
On supported iPhones, the optional Daily Line is generated by Apple's on-device
Foundation Models. Generation happens entirely on your iPhone; the text never leaves it.
On devices without Apple Intelligence, a built-in text pack is used instead.
